I definitely just experienced serendipity. And it feels wonderful.
Let me back up. Every now and again, I check the websites of my favorite music artists to see if they have any new music available. This evening, as I sat working at my desk, the song “All My Days” by Alexi Murdoch — one of my absolute favorite musicians — came on shuffle. ”Hmmm,” I thought to myself. “I should check out his site.” So I did. I found this:

Wait. Minneapolis? Did I just read that right? In about a month? An artist who almost NEVER tours the United States??? And the show isn’t marked as sold out yet?
I crossed my fingers and visited Ticket Web. Sure enough, there were still somehow tickets available for the Minneapolis show, even while three of the six TOTAL shows have already sold out. I immediately bought two. I cannot wait.
Serendipity, baby.
